Observation of Alborz Satellite Ground Station (Iran Space Agency-Mahdasht)

On Thursday, 10th of Khordad, students from the Electrical Engineering Department visited:

– The control room of Khayyam Satellite (Iran’s only remote sensing satellite).
– The processing unit of Badr satellite.
– The centeral observatory.
– Theh space antennas section.

An interesting point is that, with prior coordination with friends from the Space Organization, it was arranged in such a way that the passage of Khayyam Satellite over Iran at 9:55 AM today was observed live by the students. According to the Space Organization friends themselves, live observation had not been done in any previous visit.
