About us

The Antenna Laboratory of Shahrood University of Technology was established in 2014 in an area of approximately 40 square meters in the central laboratory complex of Shahrood University of Technology. This laboratory is currently the only antenna laboratory in the eastern and northeastern regions of the country, capable of providing extensive services to educational and industrial centers. Among the equipment available in this laboratory are various types of fixed and portable network analyzers, fixed and portable spectrum analyzers, signal generators, high-frequency oscilloscopes, material analyzers, LPDA reference antennas, complete cable assembly tools, and equipment for manufacturing various antennas. It is worth mentioning that the Antenna Laboratory of Shahrood University of Technology has obtained a certificate of qualification for providing services from the National Passive Defense Organization in the field of electromagnetic protection and is currently a member of the Iranian Scientific Laboratory Network  and a subsidiary of the Strategic Technologies Laboratory Network. The main mission of establishing this laboratory is to provide a suitable platform for familiarizing telecommunications students with the topics of fields and waves. In addition, specialists in this laboratory have successfully completed numerous projects to address the problems of various industries in the field of designing and manufacturing various antennas and passive microwave devices.
